Highland Kings — Shipping Policy

Overview
Highland Kings uses Printify and Printify’s network of production partners to print and fulfil most orders. Because most items are made to order, orders have a short production window followed by carrier shipping. The sections below explain production times, shipping options, taxes & customs, tracking, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Production time (what you can expect)
Most Printify orders enter production soon after you order. Typical production times are 2–7 business days, although the exact ship-by date depends on the chosen product, the print provider and seasonal demand. You’ll be able to see estimated production / ship-by dates for your order in your account/orders page.
Shipping methods & estimated delivery windows
We offer the shipping methods provided by Printify partners (actual choices at checkout depend on the product and print provider). Typical delivery windows (production + carrier transit) are:

UK (Great Britain) — Standard: 4–12 business days (production 2–7 days + shipping 2–5 days).

EU — Standard: 7–20 business days (production + international transit & customs possible).

Rest of World — Standard: 10–30 business days (varies by country and customs).
Printify also offers Priority / Express shipping options for eligible products which can reduce the combined production + delivery time to 2–5 business days (Express typically aims 2–3 working days). If you need an item urgently, choose an Express / Priority shipping option at checkout where available. Exact shipping options and costs are displayed at checkout per item.
Note: the above are estimates. Production and shipping times may expand during busy seasonal periods or due to carrier delays. If you need a guaranteed date, contact us before ordering and we’ll check availability with the print provider.
Delivery promise & legal note
By default we aim to deliver within the times shown above. Under UK distance-selling rules, if we have not agreed a specific delivery date with you, goods should be delivered within 30 days of the order; if this does not happen you have the right to request a refund. If you require a specific delivery date, please state this at checkout and we will confirm whether it’s possible.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the product, shipping method and destination. Costs shown at checkout are final for that order. If you select a faster shipping method at checkout you will be charged the difference.
Customs, VAT and import charges (international orders)
If you order from outside the UK you may be liable for customs duties, import VAT or other local taxes. These charges are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer. The carrier or customs authority will inform you if payment is required before delivery. For UK deliveries of goods sent from abroad, import VAT and duty rules apply. Please check HMRC guidance for details. Highland Kings cannot control or refund customs charges levied by border authorities.
Tracking and delivery updates
When your order ships we will send a shipping notification email with tracking details. Tracking updates vary by carrier and may show transit stages, estimated delivery date, or proof-of-delivery. If tracking shows “delivered” but you have not received your parcel, contact us and we’ll open an investigation with the carrier and Printify on your behalf.
Lost, delayed or damaged parcels

Lost or not delivered: If tracking shows your parcel is lost or not delivered within the estimated window, contact us within 30 days of the expected delivery date and we will liaise with Printify and the carrier to investigate and, where appropriate, arrange a reprint or refund.

Damaged or incorrect items: Report within 30 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging so we can submit a claim to Printify and arrange a reprint or refund where justified. Do not return the item unless we ask you to. See our Returns & Refund Policy for full instructions
Combined orders & multiple shipments
If you order multiple items, they may be produced by different Printify providers and shipped separately. Each item will have its own tracking and may arrive in separate parcels. Any delivery estimates at checkout reflect the total for the chosen shipping methods but separate shipments can result in staggered arrivals.
Order changes and cancellations
Because most products are made to order, we can only change or cancel an order while it is still in the pre-production stage. If you need to change an address, product or cancel an order, contact support@highlandkings.co.uk immediately with your order number. If the print provider has already started production we may not be able to change or cancel the order.
Holiday season & cut-off dates
Production and carrier capacity can be limited during peak seasons (for example late November–December). Printify publishes holiday cut-off dates and network fulfilment notices; we recommend placing gift orders early or selecting Express where available to reduce risk of late delivery. We will publish any Highland Kings-specific cut-offs on the site and in our help centre.
Force majeure and delays outside our control
Delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example customs delays, carrier strikes, severe weather, pandemics, or government action) may impact production and delivery estimates. Where appropriate we will advise you and help arrange refunds or reprints, but some delays may be outside Printify’s / Highland Kings’ control.
